Sunday WorshipHow do we know for sure that Jesus is the Messiah? People are still asking this question today, even as they were asking it 2000 years ago during his public ministry in Israel. One way we know is through the signs he performed. In the Gospel of John, the different signs signify the truth about Jesus' identity and mission. And as we will see in John 2:12-25, there is one ultimate sign which reveals the truth more clearly than any other. We'll consider this sign together on Sunday with a sermon titled "The Ultimate Sign." Join us for prayer at 9:30, Worship at 10:00, and fellowship downstairs after the service.

Neighborhood Block PartyThis Saturday, October 18 from 1:00-5:00 pm! Invite a friend for our first annual Neighborhood Block Party to be held in the Grace Church parking lot. International Sunday LuncheonJoin us on Sunday, November 16 after the service for our annual International Sunday Luncheon. This is a time when we celebrate the diversity of nationalities in our Grace Church family by sharing a meal together. Everyone is asked to bring a dish that represents their culture. Sign up sheets will be available in the next few weeks. |

Operation Christmas ChildWe are excited to participate in this annual event to bless children and share the Gospel with them this Christmas. The shoeboxes and labels are here. Our goal is to fill all 100 boxes! Fill a box with small toys, clothing items, toiletries, and a personal message from you. Also consider including the $10 cost of shipping (instructions for that are on the labels). Return filled boxes to Grace Church between 10/26 and 11/16. Community GroupsWe were made to follow Christ together, in community. This fall, several groups will be doing just that. Some will meet weekly; others twice a month. Some will meet at Grace; others in homes. We definitely have a group for you! Consider which one might work, then reach out to the Leader directly, or contact office@gracestamford.org for more info. Prayer FocusPlease pray for our Missions Partners Joshua and Naomi Smith. Pray for strength, encouragement, and complete healing for Naomi. Pray for God's wisdom and blessing on them as they prepare for their move to Spain in December. Also, please continue to pray for the Grace Church Block Party on October 18. Pray that the community would come to know and love God as a result. Please also pray for our church family.
