What are you seeking?

This is the question Jesus asked two of John the Bapisit's disciples. They then spent the day with him and became his devoted followers. We don't know exactly what they were seeking, but they seem to have found it in Jesus.

Have you considered how you would answer if Jesus asked you the same question?

This Sunday we'll consider this question and more in John 1:35-42 as we continue our "Among Us" series in John chapter 1.

Prayer starts at 9:30 in the Sanctuary, Worship begins at 10:00, and fellowship continues afterwards downstairs. We'll see you on Sunday.

This Sunday, the Elders will give a brief update on the financial health of the church. Our mission and vision are enabled by your generous giving. We were made to follow Christ together, in community. This fall, several groups will be doing just that. Some will meet weekly; others twice a month. Some will meet at Grace; others in homes. Invite a friend for our Neighborhood Block Party to be held in the Grace Church parking lot on Saturday, October 18 from 1:00-5:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to let our neighbors know who we are, and that we are here for them. There will be music, food, and fun for the whole family! See Fulika Cassell for more details.

We are excited to participate in this annual event to bless children and share the Gospel with them this Christmas. The shoeboxes and labels are here. Our goal is to fill all 100 boxes! Fill a box with small toys, clothing items, toiletries, and a personal message from you. Also consider including the $10 cost of shipping (instructions for that are on the labels). We are seeking a part-time Director of Children's Ministries to lead and grow this vital ministry in our church. You can read the full position description and next steps here. Feel free to pass along this information to anyone you know who might be interested. And please pray that the Lord would lead us to the right leader for this role.

Please pray for Pastor Rob Turner at ICare Outreach. They provide evangelism and skills training for recovering and re-entering individuals in Bridgeport.
