What do people say about Jesus? How do they refer to him? Which names or titles should he be given? And as we consider these questions, which voices do we listen to?

This Sunday, we'll consider what John the Baptist has to say about Jesus in John 1:29-34, with a sermon titled, "Behold the Lamb of God!" We'll consider what John's testimony about Jesus means for how we know him, love him, follow him, and talk about him with others.

Prayer starts at 9:30 in the Sanctuary, Worship begins at 10:00, and fellowship continues afterwards downstairs. We'll see you on Sunday.

We were made to follow Christ together, in community. This fall, several groups will be doing just that. Some will meet weekly; others twice a month. Some will meet at Grace; others in homes. We definitely have a group for you! Consider which one might work, then reach out to the Leader directly, or contact office@gracestamford.org for more info. We hope everyone at Grace will join a group this fall!

We are excited to participate in this annual event to bless children and share the Gospel with them this Christmas. The shoeboxes and labels are here. Our goal is to fill all 100 boxes! Fill a box with small toys, clothing items, toiletries, and a personal message from you. Also consider including the $10 cost of shipping (instructions for that are on the labels). Save the date and invite a friend for our Neighborhood Block Party to be held in the Grace Church parking lot on Saturday, October 18 from 1:00-5:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to let our neighbors know who we are, and that we are here for them. There will be music, food, and fun for the whole family! See Fulika Cassell for more details.

We are seeking a part-time Director of Children's Ministries to lead and grow this vital ministry in our church. You can read the full position description and next steps here.
