Dave Rucquoi, our Lead Elder will be preaching this Sunday. The scripture passage is Deuteronomy 6:4-9, with a sermon titled: "What Does It Look Like To Love God?", Part 2.

Join us for prayer at 9:30 am, for worship at 10:00 am, and for fellowship downstairs after the service.

We will celebrate Communion this Sunday during the service, remembering the Body and Blood of Christ together.

There are no Grace Kids classes on the first Sunday of the month. The Nursery is open and staffed if you need to use it, as well as the Nursing/Cry Room at the back of the Sanctuary.

Grace Church has started weekly youth meetings, every Sunday evening, 5:00-7:00 pm. There will be games, fellowship, and studying the Word of God. See Stephanie Jones or Gavin Pickard for details.

Iglesia Evangélica Bethel is celebrating their 10th Anniversary on Sunday, October 11, at 1:00 PM. Our Spanish-speaking congregation was born right here within Grace Church. It would be a great honor and joy to celebrate this special milestone together with Grace. Following the anniversary worship service, we will have a Latino fellowship meal in Taylor Hall. We would be delighted to have you join us for this special time of fellowship, food, and celebration.

Mark your calendar for our 2nd Annual Block Party! Saturday, October 17, 1:00 - 5:00 pm in the Grace Church parking lot. We will have games, Touch A Truck, food and much more! Sign ups are in the foyer. See Fulika, Sandra, or Lisa Mellers for more details.

One of our favorite Sundays of the year! Save the date for our International Sunday Luncheon on November 15. We are blessed to have many different countries and cultures represented in our congregation. Join us as we celebrate that with a lunch after the service on Nov. 15. More details to follow.

We were made to follow Christ together, in community. Consider which of these groups you might be a part of. We hope everyone at Grace will join a small group.

The Search Committee is excited to move into the next phase of our process! We are reviewing resumes and interviewing potential candidates. We want you to know that we, as the Search Committee, represent you to the search firm. If you have questions anywhere along this process, please reach out to us. Our email address is searchcommittee2026@gracestamford.org.

This group meets in person or via Zoom. There is a group pot-luck every 4th Monday of the month. See Gavin Pickard for details.

Everyone is welcome to pray together on Wednesdays at noon. Contact Bob Daniel at bobdaniel@aol.com or call or text at 203-858-2708. The Zoom meeting ID is: 309 369 9640.

Please pray for the Search Committee as we go through the process of evaluating and interviewing potential candidates for the Senior Pastor position at Grace Church. Pray for guidance, discernment, and Godly wisdom as we navigate this process.

Please also pray for our church family. Partners, look for the Weekly Prayer Update sent out each week as a reminder to pray for the specific needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ. If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please contact office@gracestamford.org.

We desire to reach as many people as possible with the good news of the gospel and events going on here at Grace. Please subscribe, like, share and follow Grace Church on YouTube, Facebook, Google, and Instagram.
