Jon Deming, Associate Pastor of Student Ministries from Wethersfield EF Church will be with us this Sunday. He will be preaching from Mark 4:1-20, with a sermon titled, "How's Your Hearing?"

Message Titled: How's Your Hearing?

1. If you had to choose, which of the three "empty hopes" encourages you the most?  The empty cross (atonement)?  The empty tomb (resurrection)? Or the empty clothes (a glorified body)?

2. Like Mary and the others, in your times of fear and/or confusion, has Jesus ever "showed up" in an incredible way?  How did He assure you that He is still with you?

3.  Conversely, are there areas of your life where you are still waiting for Jesus to "show up"?  How can the Resurrection offer hope that He will?

4. How would you address a skeptic's questions about the reality of the Resurrection?

We will be doing a study of the Book of 1 Samuel. This meeting will take place on Zoom. Please see Gavin Pickard for more details.
