Neighborhood BBQ, Baptism & Picnic, and More!

Sunday Worship

Sunday Worship

What's the most astonishing news you've ever heard?

Over the next several weeks, we will consider what John, the Apostle, considered to be the most astonishing news he, or anyone else in the world, had ever heard:

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us"  (John 1:14)

Our new series "Among Us" will take us through chapter 1 of John's Gospel. It will help us uncover and internalize some of the most profound truths written anywhere, at any time, by any person. And these truths will help us grow in our sense of awe, and wonder, and thankfulness, and devotion to Jesus Christ for who he truly is.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 for prayer, 10:00 am for worship, and fellowship downstairs after the service.

Neighborhood BBQ

This is a chance to reach out to families in the Glenbrook and Springdale areas. RSVP to Mallory Valenzano.

Baptism and Church Picnic

Baptism and Church Picnic

All are invited to our Annual Grace Church Baptism and Picnic at Cove Beach on Sunday, September 7. If you are interested in baptism, please contact Pastor Tom Hansen at tom@gracestamford.org. There are sign up sheets in the foyer to bring food, drink and dessert items for the picnic.

"Let the Little Children Come"

"Let the Little Children Come"

Our Grace Kids ministry loves children and teaches them about Jesus. We are seeking 8 new volunteers to serve once per month. You can work with babies & toddlers, preschoolers, K–2nd grade, or 3–5th grade. See Melanie Armstrong or Maura Maitan to learn more, or email office@gracestamford.org.

Prayer Focus

The Church

Please pray for comfort and peace for the Reyes family, the family of the young boy who was killed on Courtland Avenue. Join us here at Grace for a special time of prayer for them on Sunday morning at 9:30 am.

Please also pray for our church family. Partners, look for the Weekly Prayer Update sent out each week as a reminder to pray for the specific needs of our bothers and sisters in Christ. If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please contact office@gracestamford.org.
